1. Scope of this policy

This policy explains what information DematOpen collects when you visit this website, why we collect it and what choices you have. It applies to this website only. When you open an account with the broker, the broker's own privacy policy applies to the data you give it.

2. Information we collect

Information you send us. When you write to us by email or use the contact form, we receive the details you choose to include: your name, email address and the message itself.

Usage data. Like most websites, we use Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This records non-identifying details such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and the website or ad that brought you here.

Cookies. Analytics cookies help us measure the site. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings without losing access to the website's content.

3. What we do not collect

We never ask for, see or store your PAN, Aadhaar, bank details or KYC documents. When you open an account, you provide those documents directly to the broker's own secure flow. DematOpen's servers do not touch them.

• to keep the website secure and prevent misuse

5. Sharing

We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed: with Google for analytics processing, and with the broker if your message relates to your account application. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to resolve your query, and no longer than two years after the conversation ends. Anonymised analytics data may be kept longer for reporting.

7. Security

The website is served over HTTPS. We restrict access to the limited data we hold and review our practices periodically. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. The website is intended for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Analytics data is processed on servers that may be located outside India, including in the United States. We rely on the standard safeguards used by those providers, and the data involved is non-identifying usage data.
